According to the Fiscal 2009 Third Quarter Report filed by Apollo Group, Inc. yesterday, University of Phoenix just hit total degreed enrollment of 420,700, up 22% compared to last year. These numbers are well above but reflective of strong overall growth in online education enrollment.
According to the report, enrollment growth was driven largely by continuing increases in enrollments and improved student retention at University of Phoenix. In fact according to the college review site www.collegegrader.com 88% of reviews said they would attend University of Phoenix if they could start over.
