Winter Break: A Time For Online Classes

For college students Thanksgiving means that it is almost the end of the semester, finals are just days away, and winter break is so close you can taste it. Winter break is a time that every college student looks forward to because it is a month without dorm rooms, 3:00am fire alarms, and mystery meals in the cafeteria. But after the holidays race past you’re left with a lot of idle time. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to have a little bit of time away from campus with a comfy bed and home-cooked meals, but let’s face it; winter break can be kind of boring. While you are at home on break why not enroll in an online class and get a head start on next semester?

For anyone bold enough to make the claim that online students are, “not real students” I submit they are either ignorant, uninformed, or a combination of the two. The fact is many hiring managers value online students more than those who procured a degree in a traditional setting.

Stay on Credit Course with Online Classes

I think the person who set the five class per semester / four year model to secure a bachelors degree was a glutton for punishment. Four years to get a BA or BS is just not very feasible these days. However, some students have turned to online education to help them stay the four year course.
