So true! The prevalence of booming online schools is also one proof that traditional learning style is becoming more outdated.

No one is saying that Laboratory time and hands on technical experience can be replaced completely with Online Classes.

Some of the comments here are so ignorant, others hit the mark.

Everyone is different. Yes, social skills are important and learned in school... but they are not THE most important things about school. If it were, then people with disabilities would never be able to learn because of isolation, and we know this isnt true.

In fact, almost anyone can learn if they are given tools that aid them. Genius is learned, not genetic. This is why we oppress the poor and make educational materials so expensive... its a way to kill minorities who happen to be poor. Evil.

We wont need doctors if the entire planet explodes because we have no mathamaticians or engineers... what good is a hospital without people to care for in the first place.

My favorite classrooms had padded chairs on wheels in front of tables - 4 could sit at each table but was better with just 3 students.
All people are different that's why we need to adjust our own thinking rather than cutting down others!
Listening to others can help others understand what others think as well as possibly enhancing your own knowledge - if you are willing to learn.
Set class times - needed especially for those who wouldn't come to clas otherwise (even though some don't anyway). If a student does not want set class times then they should take online courses.
Also set class times can also prepare students for the real world when they begin working for companies that have set work times!!!!!

i can relate to this. After going to a bigger high school the same types of things happen here too. Being away at school will probably make it even harder to get someone to care.
