Online Education “Catch Phrase”

17 June 2009 11,604 views 82 Comments

Geico has a string of television commercials touting how it’s so easy to switch over to Geico a caveman could do it. Well, that got me to thinking, why don’t we start our own campaign for online education?

online_educationIf you’ve read the Top 5 Reasons Online Classes Rock you already know why so many covet this mode of study. Here a few catch phrases I’ve come up with so far which I hope will encapsulate the spirit and awesomeness of online education.

  • Online classes are like Kirstie Alley off Jenny Craig, they keep gaining and gaining and gaining new students. What, too crass? Ok, let me try another.
  • Online classes are like a gymnast, they’re flexible and fit into your busy schedule. Better? How about one more.
  • Online classes are like devil’s food cake, once you try it you’ll keep coming back for more. Is that a winner?

Have you got a catch phrase? If so, we want to hear it! If you don’t, no problem. Just tell us what your favorite part about taking an online class is. Let your voice be heard below!

  25. Alexander Kue says on October 26, 2009 at 9:31 pm:

I dislike online classes because I find they do not provide me with that in-class, hands-on experience like that of a classroom. Also, so many more things could go wrong, the internet could go out and I dislike the lack of communication between student and teacher. It may be easy, but the easy way is not always the best way.

  26. Diana says on October 26, 2009 at 8:25 pm:

An online class is much like the public decency laws in Europe; you can do it anywhere you want at any time, so long as you don’t disturb anyone.
