In an effort to reach more students and link them with basic skill sets that will transfer into the workplace the Obama administration is drafting the framework on a program that would offer online classes to both high school and community college students for free!  The courses, owned by the government, would be free for anyone to take with the school(s) receiving federal funding.

Reading an article about a student suing her former school this week reminded me of a woman who spilled hot coffee on her lap and then sued McDonald’s for the coffee being too hot years ago. We have become a sue first ask questions later kind of society.  Doesn’t anyone take personal responsibility anymore?  The jobless graduate in question filed a complaint with her school accusing them of being responsible for her inability to find work and is seeking $70,000 in tuition retribution
